The Beloit Coalition, which consists of all twelve sectors of the community, recently submitted a Drug Free Communities Grant.  In August, 2011, 75 grants will be awarded to enhance efforts to address youth drug prevention issues in communities across the nation.  The Beloit Coalition is hopeful that of the 500 plus grants submitted, they will be chosen as one of the 75 recipients.  If chosen to be a Drug Free Community Grant recipient, the coalition is poised to "hit the ground running," and tackle drug use and abuse by youth head on.
