UW Community-Academic Partnership Grant 2008-2011
The UW Partnership Grant is a three-year pilot study being conducted by Partners in Prevention to reduce underage drinking in Edgerton Wisconsin. The project, "Underage Drinking: A Parent Solution" is funded by the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. The Project consists of a parent education piece called Parents Make the Difference which involves a parent to parent interview, and a community education piece which has involved social marketing, media, and other methods of information dissemination. Community information has been obtained through surveys, environmental scans and other strategic events.
